Merrick

[SpUnK]

Powerful, Melodic, Poppy Punkness, Emotional...need I say more?

I guess I could just say these guys are emopunk. That would be the easy way out. I could also say that these guys are comparable to Samiam, Get Up Kids, and Face to Face. Simple. Another thing I could add in here is that the record was produced by Bay Area legend Kevin Army, who has done work for Operation Ivy and Green Day. No work at all.

Out of the depths of Berkeley California comes a new band breaking ground in the field of punk and emo. You'd know them by Merrick. Havent heard them yet? Check out their single "Boy" off the CD "An Album for Raymond" out now on Deafinit Records. 10 emo/rock/power punk tracks that will leave you breathless and wanting more. Merrick has been playing up and down the west coast, making new fans at every stop they play. With a sound similar to Samiam and Weezer, its nearly impossible not to enjoy this group.

Samiam, The Get Up Kids и Face to Face.
