Old Forest - це:
Kobold - вокал, клавішні (Ewigkeit, In the Woods..., Jaldaboath, Svartelder, The Bombs of Enduring Freedom, Blacksmoke, Con.Dev.Ex, The Feral Underclass, ex-The Meads of Asphodel)
Beleth - гітара, бас
Lord Grond - ударні

Один із найбільш улюблених моїх британських бм-гуртів. Сирий, брудний, лісопильний, трохи навіть замогильний. Не скажу, що інтенсивний, агресивний, скоріше середньотемповий блек з чітко виставленою партією басу і прекрасними гіпнотичними мелодіями. На вокалі відомий кадр, послужному списку якого можна позаздрити.
Існують з 1998. Ведуть самітницький і антихайповий спосіб власного просунення серед мас. Концертів не дають, вважаючи це позерством з боку самих гуртів. Знайти їхні альбоми важко, видаються андеграундними лейблами. Та й то хз, чи ще хоч видаються. Вважають себе культом.
Новий альбом - Dagian - розповідає про безкінечний цикл доби, починаючи від ранку (Morwen) і закінчуючи ніччю (Neaht), спостережений з англосаксонських лісів, незагиджених їбучими людьми. Альбом виданий досить відомими італійцями Avantgarde Music (LOL).
Вплив: Darkthrone (old), Burzum (old), Emperor (old), Dissection (old), Satyricon (old), In The Woods... (old), Immortal (old), Forgotten Woods (old), Gehenna (old), Cradle of Filth (never :stupid:).

`здець, оце переслуховую вкотре в цьому році Даджан і не можу напитись - настільки крутий альбом: тут і непоганий середньотемповий рифаж, і спектр вокалів від екстремального шрайку до хорового співу, ну і атмосфера на фоні :in_love:. Подумую замовити собі їхні альбоми на болванках.:hz:

Comprising 6 monstrous extreme metal anthems that bulge with irresistible melodic hooks, bursts of thrilling savagery and moments of spine-tingling dynamic drama, "Black forests of eternal doom", is the result of the huge surge of creativity and a collective desire to keep moving forward with no compromise.

After their 2015 album on Avantgarde Music "Dagian", in 2018, Old Forest began work on whatwas to become their 5th album on Dusktone; Recorded as an ode to the darker thoughts of the solitary mind, this album is equal parts Early 90s Black Metal (Emperor and Dark Throne) and equal parts Epic Doom (in the vein of Candlemass and early Paradise Lost). 6 Tracks of woeful despair, with haunting vocals and dense guitars to pull the soul down into an oubliette of depression and, eventually, suicide. This album should be seen as the depressive alter-ego to it's member's other band 'In The Woods' (Kobold & Kobro).

There are bands that exceed time and fashions and above all that have left an indelible mark since the 90s. One of these is definitely OLD FOREST that since the legendary debut album "Into the Old Forest" (Mordgrimm / Cacophonous Records) have shown what it means to compose qualitative, dark and revolutionary music

"Black forests of eternal doom" will be available as

- Ultra limited (50 copies) hand-made canvas printed box including : digipack CD, special cards with distinctive Old Forest exclusive images and ultra rare "Tales Of The Sussex Weald" CD printed in few copies by the band in 2011

Umnitsa, в мене є рівно ті альбоми, які вказані в шапці теми. Більше я не качав / купував, бо там вже пішло якесь графоманство.

tenebræferis, нарэшце дошел до первой демки Of Mists and Graves. Зашло сильно, лет 20 не слушал такого. Не кажется, что много мелодики?

walls, мне нравится бм, просто не всегда заходит. Всякую бм-попсу просто слушаю в основном.
